Junior Analyst: Security and Compliance
Location: Remote
Compensation: $50/Hour
Hours: 20 a week
What You'll Do: As a Junior Analyst at Amomitto Security, you'll have the opportunity to work across both our technical security and strategic compliance teams. This is a role designed to give you a broad view of the industry, allowing you to find your passion and specialize over time.
You Will:
Get Hands-On-Keyboard: Run vulnerability scanners, review cloud security settings, troubleshoot corporate security IT issues, and organize technical data for our senior security engineers.
Understand the "Why": Assist our compliance team by organizing evidence for audits (like SOC 2), taking notes in client interviews, and helping to draft security policies.
Do Security Questionnaires and Sales Enablement: Be a key player in our sales enablement process by taking the first human review of security questionnaires after our automation runs. You will see what client’s customers are asking, build an understanding of product security, and get coaching from Senior engineers on any questions you have along the way.
Learn from Everyone: Shadow experts in Security and Compliance working on interesting problems across startups from many industries.
What We're Looking For:
Someone with a Technical background and a passion for Cyber Security. We don’t expect you to be pro or get grilled in an interview, but basic programming, Linux, and an understanding of current technology is required.
A high desire to learn and a willingness to tackle any task
Strong communication skills and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
No professional experience is required. We value passion, curiosity, and a strong work ethic above all. This role is about finding the right person and having them grow with us. If you are passionate about cybersecurity and need a foot in the door this could be it.
What We Offer:
A competitive hourly rate and future profit sharing
A clear path to specialize in either Security Engineering or GRC/Compliance after your first year.
Direct mentorship from experts across the entire company.
A flexible, remote-first culture that values your work-life balance.
Note: This is a subcontracting position, and we are a small company. We can not provide health insurance, PTO, 401k Match, but are developing a Profit Sharing program that you will be part of. We are also happy to help the right candidate set up an LLC, learn how self employment taxes work, etc.
